We're entering our third week of the Kindness Fundraiser and we're so impressed by all the acts of kindness and generous donations! So far we have raised $9,941 with the help of 88 registered students! In addition, we have 213 names on the kindness tree at Forest Hills showing how many students have completed or committed to acts of kindness. If you have not started fundraising yet, you can help your student register on the website to track their kindness tasks and raise donations. The website makes it easy to send emails to friends and family to ask for their support. We passed the halfway mark and, happily, we are ahead of schedule to reach our $15,000 goal. Keep spreading kindness and reach out to family and friends for donations. This is a great end-of-year giving option and way to show kindness during the month of thankfulness. Donations raised will be used to make further improvements to the playground and maker space. Keep up the great work! One kindness opportunity is our weekly PROP Collection. Last week we collected personal care items and families were incredibly generous. We collected over 144 pounds to donate to PROP. This week, Nov. 14-18, we are collecting clothing (especially children’s sizes 6-18, in clean and good condition). Leave items in the collection bin found in the Forest Hills front entrance. If you need more information, contact Kristin Selander at [email protected].
